SNB's ‘Winter Wonder’:
A Christmas Surprise These Families Didn't Expect

At Security National Bank, we brainstormed for weeks about how we could best celebrate the spirit of giving in Siouxland this holiday season. We wanted to do something big. Something exciting. And most importantly, something that would make a difference in our community.  

So, we worked with local agencies to find families who were in need of a quality, worry-free afternoon together at the movie theater — complete with a free movie, snacks, games and a chance to see Santa. But little did they know, as the kids gave their wishes to Santa, that SNB employees were secretly listening in behind the scenes and preparing a spectacular “Winter Wonder” surprise!

While the families watched the movie inside the theater, dozens of SNB employees rushed from store to store in Sioux City, finding gifts the children had asked for. They bought, wrapped and placed the presents underneath the tree, and completely transformed the theater lobby into a Winter Wonderland — all before the movie was finished! When the guests came out, a magical surprise awaited them.
