Two SNB Ag Lenders Promoted to Vice President

D. Douglas Rice, Chairman and CEO of Security National Bank, is proud to announce the following promotions: 

Cory JohnsonCory Johnson has been named Vice President of Ag Lending in Mapleton, Iowa. A professional with nearly 23 years of financial and lending experience, Johnson joined Security National Bank in 2016 as an Ag Loan Officer, and was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Ag Lending in 2019.

Johnson’s agricultural roots stem back to his time growing up on the family farm near Moorhead, Iowa. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree in business management and finance from the University of Northern Iowa. He started his banking career as a teller before advancing into investments, commercial lending and management.

Andy JacobsAndy Jacobs has also been named Vice President of Ag Lending. A professional with more than 20 years of financial and lending experience, Jacobs joined Security National Bank in 2019 as an Ag Loan Officer. Prior to that, he served as an Assistant Vice President and Loan Officer at another Siouxland financial institution.

Jacobs graduated from the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and management. He lives in Elk Point, S.D., with his wife and three children.

Both Jacobs and Johnson's areas of lending expertise include farm operating loans, purchase price livestock, and loans for machinery, equipment, facilities and ag real estate.
