Customer Notice:

There have been several reports of scammers in our area posing as Bank employees, and calling customers to verify a purchase and ask for PIN numbers.

Remember: you should never share Debit Card or PIN numbers, or any other personal information to someone who unexpectedly contacts you. Security National Bank will NEVER call, text or message you out of the blue and ask for information like this.  If somebody does, it's a scam.

What is spoofing?

Spoofing is what happens when scammers call your phone, and imitate an official phone number in the Caller ID to make it look like the call is legitimate. They'll claim to be an employee from the Bank, or another institution you trust, and attempt to deceive you into providing personal information or engaging in unauthorized transactions. Don't fall for it.

For more information, read our article on how to avoid phone scams.
