MEET Lori Ann Rabey
Q: What do you do at Security National Bank?
I am a personal banker at the SNB branch in Akron, Iowa. We do a little bit of everything here — my main role is to open new accounts, CD's, IRA's and retail loans for customers. I also work on the Teller line when needed, and I'm a backup for our loan secretary on the Ag side. I guess you could say I'm a "Jack" of all trades.
Q: What’s your favorite part of working at Security National Bank?
I banked with SNB before I started working here eight years ago, and my favorite part of working with SNB is how we are able to help our customers with all of their financial needs — from beginning to end.
Q: Name one thing most people don’t know about you:
I used to be very shy and hated small talk. With my experience at the bank, I now love to talk to everyone — and I'm sure people would have a hard time believing I was ever shy.
Q: What else do you like to do outside of the bank?
I am the Vice President with the Akron Chamber of Commerce and very involved with our community in different projects. I also keep busy with my two kids and their activities!
I graduated from Elk Point High School in 1990 and married to my high school sweet heart Stacey Rabey (celebrating our 20-year Anniversary in June) — and we have two children, Justyne, a senior, and Jorden, an 8th grader at Akron-Westfield Community School. We also have two spoiled Chihuahuas, Bella and Mia.
