Security National Wealth Management Welcomes Lamb as Trust Officer

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — D. Douglas Rice, Chairman, President and CEO of Security National Bank, is proud to announce the following new employee:
Anthony P. Lamb has been named Personal Trust Manager and Trust Officer, providing legal advice and guidance within the Bank’s Wealth Management Division. He is transitioning from a successful career as partner at the Klass Law Firm, LLP in Sioux City. As a licensed attorney, Lamb has practiced law for the past seven years, primarily focusing in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration, corporations, real estate/land use, and employment matters, including litigation related to those areas of practice.
Lamb holds his Juris Doctorate from the University of South Dakota College of Law, graduating with honors and an undergraduate degree in criminal justice from Grandview College. He is a member of the Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota Bar Associations and is a member of the Iowa Academy of Trust and Estate Counsel (IATEC). During law school, he was a member of the Trial Team and Moot Court Board, which earned him membership in The Order of the Barristers — a national honor society for exceptional skill in trial advocacy, oral advocacy and brief writing. He also co-authored several articles related to ERISA, one of which was cited in a brief to the United States Supreme Court.
Lamb has been named a Super Lawyers Great Plains Rising Star from 2017 through 2020. This accolade is given to no more than 2.5% of lawyers in the state. The determination is made following independent nomination, research, and peer evaluation.
Outside of work, Lamb has been involved in the community by serving as the President of the Siouxland Estate Planning Council, as Vice-Chair for the Sergeant Bluff Planning and Zoning Commission, and as Finance Chair of his Church’s Admin Council. Lamb enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and using his pilot’s license whenever time and weather allow.
