Security National Bank receives "Pride of Sioux City" Business Beautification Award

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Security National Bank has received the 2018 “Pride of Sioux City: Business Beautification Award,” given by the Sioux City Economic Development Department to recognize a local business that best exhibits pride in the appearance of its business property.
Mayor Bob Scott presented SNB employees with the award and an official commendation during the City Council meeting on June 25 inside City Hall.
Security National Bank was recognized for the appearance all five of its Sioux City branch locations — including the Downtown Branch (located at 601 Pierce St.), Morningside Branch (4700 Sergeant Road), Northside Branch (3131 Floyd Blvd), Marketplace Branch (2827 Hamilton Boulevard) and Motor Bank (901 Pierce Street).
“We’re extremely honored to receive this award, which is a tribute to Terry Fiedler, our Property and Building Manager, and the rest of our dedicated facilities crew at Security National Bank,” said Marketing Director Troy Steensen. “The recognition also reflects the great pride all of our employees take in their attention to detail, the opportunity to serve our customers and the privilege to represent our community.”
Winners of the award are selected by a committee comprised of local business professionals and city staff, who judge based on criteria including landscaping, cleanliness, originality, signage, sense of community, adherence to zoning codes and overall curb appeal. Nominations are open to the public.
