SNB Voted as Best Place to Work, Top Financial Firm in Siouxland

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Readers from across Siouxland have voted Security National Bank as the Top Investment/Financial Firm and Best Place to Work in the region, according to the 2021 Siouxland's Choice Awards.

This is the second consecutive year that Security National's Wealth Management division was chosen No. 1 in the Investment/Financial Firm category.

In addition, SNB was the top Bank selected in the “Best Bank/Credit Union” category; and added runner-up finishes in two more categories: Best Mortgage Lender and Best Customer Service (behind only Chick-fil-a). 

Contest results were released on Thursday, Feb. 25. 

“It's an incredible honor that our customers are proud to call us their Bank. It matters to us,” said D. Douglas Rice, Chairman, President and CEO of Security National Bank. “It also speaks volumes about our employees' remarkable service, knowledge and commitment to the community.”

This is just the latest community recognition that Security National Bank has received. Back in August, the Bank was honored to be named the United Way of Siouxland’s “Major Business of the Year.”

The Siouxland's Choice Awards are an annual online voting contest established by the Sioux City Journal and Weekender publications to “select the best of everything Siouxland has to offer.” Readers are asked to vote for their favorite local businesses and organizations in a number of categories. 

To qualify, five finalists in each category were selected through a public nomination process, then voted upon during a contest period that lasted throughout the month of December. This year, the Journal reported a record of more than 230,000 votes cast.
