Security National Bank Expands Presence in Northwest Iowa
October 16, 2023
SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Security National Bank is pleased to announce that as of Oct. 16, 2023, Northwestern Bank's branches in Orange City and Sheldon are now united under the Security National Bank brand.
Northwestern Bank and SNB were already members of the same family of community banks for more than 50 years, sharing administrative, operational and technological resources underneath the umbrella of Security National Corporation. The merger will not change the day-to-day operations or affect staffing in Orange City or Sheldon.
“This merger will allow us to offer our customers more products and services, while keeping a focus on personalized service and community involvement,” said D. Douglas Rice, Chairman and CEO of Security National Bank. “There might be a new name on the door, but all of the great people our customers have come to know at the Bank are still here, ready to provide remarkable service as always.”
Over the next few weeks, the branch locations in Orange City and Sheldon will be updated to reflect the new Security National Bank logo and look. The new branding will also be reflected in bank messaging and advertising in these communities, setting the backdrop for the same great service customers from across Siouxland have come to expect.
“Unifying our name reflects the way our community banks have worked together for many years,” Rice said. “As our family of banks join as Security National Bank, our customers can be confident in our capability and our commitment to serve them with excellence in their financial lives, and to help them take care of the things that matter most.”
